Thank you dear Lord again for making me your own. I need you everyday. I look back now and see you were calling me for a long time before I was saved. Please be patient with my journey to bring you Glory. |

Ann, wonderful portrait! I relate to this verse. It was mine through the many years I was the only (and the first) Christian in our family. Psa 68:6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. [Reply to post #2] |

Lord, there is so much that You did for me when I answered Your call and accepted You as Savior, I never knew---the cost to You--and the fullness of my redemption at that time. I thank the Holy Spirit for His work in me. It was Him that silently worked for months in my heart to bring me to the moment that I would call out to God and receive eternal life. I am grateful that I am no longer in an ignorant and rebellious state of being. I am grateful that the Holy Spirit not only drew me, but keeps me. I am filled with gratitude that He taught me how to pray and worship and that He frees me to grow in Christ. I can recognize those that do not worship through the Holy Spirit, nor walk in Him. Yet, I reflect and know that it is a process. I know that the Baptism of the Spirit is often at a different time than water baptism. So I pray that I judge nothing before its time, yet that I be gentle and accepting of the weaker brother and sister, and that I might always pray that they might also receive the fullness of the Promise. Grant that I continue to promote You to those that do not worship in Spirit and Truth, and to enrich those that do. May we eagerly receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It is all in the Word, and it is all about seeing that the Word go throughout the ends of the earth. May the Word be hungered for and may the Holy Spirit teach us by it. May it please You to grant me those desires in my heart to fulfill the Great Commission. Praises to the One I adore for Your abiding love and patience toward me. Amen ![]() |
