Holy Spirit, boldness accompanies those that You come upon. I pray for boldness always when I am going to proclaim Thy glorious Name and Righteousness. As Azariah found the courage to prophesy to a King, may I never be intimidated by the position of man. Jahaziel was also used by You to testify to a King and to the province of Judah . May I be brought before governors and kings to testify as Jesus' foretold. As Zechariah stood before the people and considered not his own life as He spoke justice and judgment, may I never cower at speaking the Way of the Kingdom.

Centuries have now passed, but Your Word has never failed. The Messiah has come and left the gift and baptism of the Holy Spirit. As You pour out Your Spirit fresh even as your people have come through the dark church age, may it please You to give me the gifts for the effectual working in the Body of Christ.

As we prepare for the celebration of the day of Pentecost, in just one week from today, may we be mindful of our responsibility to walk in the Spirit and not the flesh every day. May we be in one accord with like-minded believers. May we hear and see Thy moving and be filled with Thee, individually and corporately. May we resist and refute those that deny You and claim You have withdrawn Your power and gifts from sons and daughters. Grant that we might boldly proclaim the Name of the Holy One. May we discern the true signs and wonders in these last days and not be led astray by counterfeit movements. May we joy in Thee as we serve and as we fellowship. May we praise the Lord God in all things, even that although it appears we are a remnant, You actually have a multitude of people from every kindred, and tongue, and nation that have been redeemed by the Blood of Christ. May we give witness and may You fall upon those we recall in prayer today, and their assemblies and leaders. Amen

There are days I do not walk like I should. My church family is wonderful. Continue to fill our church with your Holy Spirit. There are times I do not follow your lead when given a chance to talk about the Lord. Help me to not give in to my will.

I am glad that the Spirit was not only for the disciples and those gathered in the upper room, but that you are a gift for all that follow after God. I pray that all who I come into contact with will feel your presence in my life. Here's part of a song that I thought of--my brain's kind of sluggish and I only remember part of it: It's Raining, it's raining, it's raining once again/ The Spirit of the Lord is moving like a mighty rushing wind/ The Holy Ghost and fire is falling on all men/ giving them the power to bring the harvest in. He said upon the sons and daughters the Spirit would come/ That they'd begin to prophesy and speak with other tongues/Your young men would see visions, your old men would dream dreams/ When He pours out that former and latter day rain.
